WiFi 기본 안내
- 호실당 공유기는 1개 설치
- 개인 PC · 노트북 사용 시 랜선은 개인이 구비하여 사용
- 공유기 뒷면 ③, ④번 랜포트에 랜선 연결하여 사용
- 공유기가 없는 자리는 벽면 랜포트에 랜선 연결하여 사용
WiFi 문제 발생 시 대처 방법
- 전원선 및 메인 포트의 랜선이 제대로 꽂혀있는지 확인: 메인 포트의 랜선 접촉 불량 또는 정위치가 아닐 경우 장애 발생
- 공유기 콘센트를 뽑은 후 다시 연결(전원 OFF → ON): 공유기 내부 문제일 경우 문제 해결됨
- 기타 문제일 경우 대학생활원 홈페이지 시설 보수 신청
- 무선(공유기에서 랜선으로 단말기 연결한 경우 포함) 또는 유선 고장 여부
- 주요 증상 및 문제가 발생한 시간대 기재
주의사항
- WiFi 속도 저하 방지를 위해 본인 호실 WiFi만 사용
- 공유기 설정값이 변경될 수 있는 행동은 절대 금지
임의 조작 및 리셋 금지, 해당 행동은 같은 층 전체 인터넷 장애가 발생할 수 있음
- 개인 공유기 사용 및 임의 이동·조작, 파손 행위·분실·부착 스티커 제거 시 벌점 부과 및 손해 배상 청구의 대상이 될 수 있음
- 온라인 수업은 보다 네트워크 환경이 안정적인 유선(랜선) 연결하여 수강
- 공유기 성능 상 연결된 무선 단말 기기(노트북, 휴대폰 등)은 1인당 2개가 적정

WiFi Note
- One router for one room
- Use personal LAN line when using PC · Laptop
- Connect LAN line to the LAN port ③ and ④ on the back of the router
- Connect LAN line to the LAN port on the wall if you don't have the router on your desk
How to WiFi problems
- Make sure the power line and LAN line of main port are plugged in properly: router does not work if the LAN line of main port is not plugged in properly or plugged in the wrong location
- Unplug and re-connect the router(power OFF → ON): router will work properly if the problem was caused by router's internal problems
- If the problem is not solved by the measures above, please apply for repair service on the facility repair(시설 보수) bulletin board of PNU Dorm website
- Write whether the problem occurs with Wireless(including wireless device connecting to the router by LAN line) or Wired Internet
- Write the main symptoms of problem and time when the problem occurred
Recommendations
- Use your room's WiFi only in order to prevent WiFi slowdown
- Do not change the setting or reset the router. Changing the set point causes problems to the entire floor's Internet connection
- Never use personal router, move·manipulate router on your own, destroy·lose router, or remove the attached sticker, etc.
- The Wired Internet is faster than wireless Internet, so please take online classes by connecting LAN line(wired Internet) if possible.
- The router's performance is proper if you connect not more than 2 wireless devices(laptop, mobile phone) for one person
